Tuna Rice Casserole Recipe
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. water
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounce.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (7 ounce.) tuna, liquid removed & flaked
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 c. minute rice
- 1 pkg. (10 ounce.) Birds Eye sweet green peas, thawed
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs or possibly crushed potato chips
- 2 tbsp. butter, melted
- Blend lowfat milk and water into soup in a greased 1 1/2 qt casserole.
- Stir in tuna, cheese, dry mustard, salt, rice and peas.
- Combine bread crumbs and butter.
- Sprinkle over vegetable mix.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 25 min.
- Makes 5 c. or possibly 5 servings.
