Chinese Lemon Chicken Recipe
- 1 (3 ounce.) box lemon gelatin
- 2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 3 tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 chicken breasts halved, skinned, boned
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds
- Combine dry gelatin, garlic salt, mustard and butter.
- Mix well.
- Spread mix proportionately in oven proof baking dish.
- Place chicken in single layer over gelatin mix turning to coat both sides.
- Cover baking dish.
- Place chicken in a preheated 350 degree oven after 15 min turn chicken pcs over; baste with sauce.
- Sprinkle chicken with almond slices.
- Cover dish and return to oven for 15 more min.
- Remove cover and baste chicken with sauce, bake for final 15 min.
- Total baking time 45 min.
- Serves 4.
