Jalapeno Popper Cheese Bread
- 1/2 whole Loaf French Bread (from 1 Loaf Cut In Half Lengthwise)
- 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella
- 1/2 cups Shredded Medium Cheddar
- 1 whole Jalapeno, Stem Removed, Diced
- 1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Put the bread on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeno and mayonnaise in a bowl.
- Spread mixture over the top of the bread.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until mixture is melted and bubbly.
- Then turn on broiler and broil for 1-2 minutes or until cheese browns slightly.
- Remove pan from oven and set it on a rack.
- Allow bread to cool for a couple minutes.
- Slice and serve.
- Note: This recipe can easily be doubled to use the other half of the French bread.
