Instant Pot® Candied Sweet Potatoes

  1. Toss sweet potatoes with cornstarch in a resealable plastic bag until evenly coated.
  2. Place coated sweet potatoes in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot(R)). Cover with maple syrup, white sugar, brown sugar, and margarine. Pour in water and stir. Close and lock the lid.
  3. Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 4 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
  4. Release pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
