Apple Mustard Glazed Ham Recipe
- 1 c. Apple jelly
- 1 Tbsp. Prepared mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp Grnd nutmeg
- 1 x Fully cooked ham, bone in or possibly bone out, 4-5 pounds Whole cloves Spiced apple rings, optional
- In small saucepan, combine jelly, mustard, lemon juice and nutmeg.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees, F.
- Score the surface of the ham, making diamond shapes 1/2 inch deep.
- Insert a clove in each diamond.
- Place ham on a rack in shallow roasting pan.
- Bake, uncovered, for 20 min per lb., or possibly till a meat thermometer reads 140 degrees.
- During the last 30 min of baking, brush with glaze twice.
- Garnish with apple rings if you like.
- Makes 6-8 servings.
