Chocolate Peanut Butter Nut Cookie Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cut cookie dough in half crosswise.
  3. Cut each section in half lengthwise.
  4. With floured fingers, press dough in bottom of ungreased 9 inch square pan.
  5. Bake at 350 for 16 to 24 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Cool 15 mintues.
  7. In medium bowl, combine powdered sugar, peanut butter, butter and water; mix well; (if necessary, add additional water 1 tablespoon at a time until mixture smooth) Drop spoonfuls of mixture over baked cookie crust; press evenly to cover crust.
  8. Spread melted chocolate chips over peanut butter mixture.
  9. If desired, decoratively swirl chocolate with fork.
  10. Garnish with pecan halves.
  11. Refrigerate 1 hour or until chocolate is set.
  12. Cut into bars.
