Caramel French Toast Recipe
- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 stk butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Karo Syrup
- 6 x Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla cinnamon fresh fruit
- Heat butter and brown sugar and Karo syrup over medium heat while stirring.
- Bring to boil and then pour into 9 x13 casserole pan.
- Slice bread into 1 inch widths and lay over caramel mix.
- Mix Large eggs and lowfat milk and vanilla and pour over bread.
- Sprinkle top with cinnamon and cover with plastic wrap.
- Chill over night.
- Uncover and bake in 350 degree oven 45 min.
- Serve with fresh fruit and syrup (optional)
