Hash Brown Casserole Recipe
- 1 (2 lb.) pkg. frzn hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 c. finely minced or possibly chopped onions
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. lowfat sour cream (low fat can be used)
- 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 c. butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mix soup, lowfat sour cream, cheese, potatoes, onions, salt and pepper.
- Spread on bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Sprinkle cornflake crumbs over mix.
- Drizzle butter over mix.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for one hour.
- This recipe will take full hour to bake.
