Scouse
- 1 braising steak
- 1 lamb shoulder - diced
- 1 potatos chopped fairly large
- 1 diced carrots
- 1 diced onion
- 1 diced tunip
- 1 splash worcestershire sauce
- 1 plain flour
- 1 dash tomato ketchup
- 1 beef stock
- 1 salt and black pepper
- 1 herbs - thyme and sage, fresh is better
- 1 optional - half glass brown ale
- Place the meat in a bowl, season with the salt and pepper and add the flour.
- In a pan, heat a bit of olive oil with the dash of worcestershire sauce.
- Add the floured and seasoned meat and brown for 2 minutes.
- Add to slow cooker.
- Add all other ingredients to the slow cooker.
- The fluid level should just cover the meat and veg.
- Cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours.
