Gnocchi With Za'atar
- 12 ounces store bought potato gnocchi
- 1 tablespoon za'atar spice mix, spice (bought in a middle eastern market)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 -3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- Cook gnocchi per package directions.
- Drain.
- While it is cooking place the garlic in a skillet with just a little bit of water and cook over medium heat for a couple of minutes.
- When the water is mostly gone add the olive oil and zaatar spice.
- Cook till heated through, about another minute.
- Turn up the heat to medium high and add the gnocchi to the pan, toss through the oil and allow to brown.
- This should take 3 minutes.
- Toss in the Parmesan cheese and stir to coat.
- Remove from heat and plate.
