Pretend Beef Stew
- 2 cups water
- 6 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 14 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1 lb ground beef, unseasoned, brown, and drained
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut up
- 14 cup frozen peas
- 14 cup frozen corn
- 14 cup frozen carrots (if using frozen baby carrots, cut them into smaller pieces)
- In a large pot, wisk cornstarch and flour into water; add soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth; add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil.
- Add beef, vegetables, and potatoes, and stir together.
- Cook until the potatoes and vegetables are tender.
