Easy Masala Chai

  1. Put 3 cups water in a pan.
  2. Add the cinnamon, clove, cardamom, ginger, pepper, and tea bags.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Cover, turn heat to very, very low, and simmer gently for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the milk and sugar.
  6. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  7. Pour through a fine strainer and serve.
