Anytime Thanksgiving Burgers Recipe
- 3 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine, divided
- 1/4 c. Minced celery
- 1/4 c. Minced onion
- 3/4 c. Dry seasoned stuffing mix
- 1/3 c. Boiling chicken broth or possibly water
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1/4 tsp Poultry seasoning or possibly dry sage
- 1 lb Grnd chicken or possibly turkey, (up to 1-1/4)
- 1/4 c. Minced fresh parsley Cranberry sauce or possibly cranberry relish, optional
- In a large skillet, heat 2 Tbsp.
- butter over medium heat.
- Add in the celery and onions and saute/fry till softened, about 5 min.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and add in the stuffing mix, broth, salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning; mix well.
- Let the mix cold completely, then transfer to a large bowl.
- Fold in the chicken and parsley.
- Form into 5 or possibly 6 equal-sized patties.
- Add in the remaining butter to the skillet and heat over medium-high heat.
- Add in the patties and brown for 1 minute per side.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 4 to 5 more min per side, till the patties are cooked through and spring back when touched.
- NOTE: Top each burger with a tsp.
- of cranberry sauce or possibly cranberry relish for which complete Thanksgiving taste...anytime!
