Green Goddess Dressing
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp. fresh tarragon
- 1 tbsp. fresh dill
- 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1-1/2 tsp. granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- plain yogurt
- In a food processor or blender, puree the green onions, parsley, garlic, tarragon and dill.
- Add the vinegar, buttermilk, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and the sugar.
- Transfer to a bowl and fold in the sour cream or yogurt (this keeps the dressing from getting too thin).
