Beef Carnitas

  1. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Place your Chuck Roast on a piece of tinfoil large enough to fully enclose it with a bit of room all around.
  3. Mix the garlic, green chiles, cumin, chili powder, salt, and oregano together in a small bowl.
  4. Rub the mix over the roast, making sure you completely cover it, and wrap the tinfoil up around the roast.
  5. Place the roast package in a roasting dish and place it in the oven for 3 1/2 to 4hours.
  6. Remove your roast from the oven and pull it apart wit two forks, Or if youd rather use your hands (but please remember the chiles you used in the seasoning)
  7. Serve however youd like, this recipe is great for making roughly six heaping tacos!
