Chocolate Chocolate Cake

  1. By hand, combine cake mix and eggs; beat until well blended.
  2. Add pie filling; mix thoroughly.
  3. Blend in extract.
  4. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13-by-9-inch cake pan.
  5. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven 25 to 30 minutes, or until cake tests done.
  6. Let cool on wire rack while preparing frosting.
  7. To make frosting: Combine butter, milk and sugar in saucepan.
  8. Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute.
  9. Add chocolate morsels.
  10. Beat by hand until melted.
  11. Remove from heat; let cool.
  12. Beat by hand again until thick.
  13. Poke holes in top of cake.
  14. Pour frosting over top; spread to cover.
