Bonda With Instant Mashed Potato Recipe

  1. Method:The filling is prepared as follows:Mix potato buds and 1/2 tsp.
  2. of salt with 1 c. of warm water.
  3. Finely chop ginger, chilies, coriander leaves, and onion.
  4. Heat oil
  5. (about 5 Tbsp) and add in mustard seeds.
  6. Add in minced ingredients and fry till onions are brown.
  7. Add in carrots, peas, turmeric and 1 tsp of salt and cook on low heat for about 10 min.
  8. Add in potato (now mashed) and fry for 5 min.
  9. Remove from heat, add in lemon juice and let cold.
  10. The batter is prepared as follows:Combine gram flour, 3 Tbsp of oil, 3/4 c. water, 1/2 tsp salt, the baking pwdr and mix thoroughly
  11. After the batter is prepared, make small balls out of the filling and roll them in the batter.
  12. Next fry it in warm oil.
  13. You will get about 20-30 small bondas.
