Tavern Barbequed Beef Tips Recipe

• 2 lbs. stew beef
• 1/2 teaspoon thyme
• 2 tbsp. catsup
• Veg. oil
• 1 lg. onion, sliced
• 1 tbsp. vinegar
• 1/2 c. water

1. Brown beef in small amount of veg.
2. oil.
3. Remove to baking dish.
4. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over beef.
5. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 2 hrs.
6. Serve with rice.
7. Serves 4 to 6.
