Classic Pecan Pie
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup corn syrup, white (karo)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons margarine melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecans
- 1 each pie shell (9 inch) deep dish
- Preheat oven and a baking sheet to 350F (180C).
- In a large bowl, stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar, margarine and vanilla until well blended.
- Stir in the pecans.
- Pour into the pastry shell and place pie on the baking sheet in the oven.
