Russian Beef Stroganoff Recipe

  2. the beef till it is thin, then cut thin, narrow strips.
  3. Saute/fry the onion, beef, and mushrooms in the butter in a moderately warm skillet.
  4. Add in the seasonings and just sufficient of the liquid off the mushrooms to simmer slowly over a low fire for one hour.
  5. Add in the lowfat sour cream just before serving and reheat but don't allow to boil after lowfat sour cream has been added.
