Butterscotcharoon Bars

  1. Combine 1 cup flour,brown sugar and salt.
  2. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs;Press into bottom of greased 9-inch square pan.
  3. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes.Mix together egg whites,sugar,2 tablespoons of flour and vanilla in a large bowl.
  4. Add coconut and butterscotch chips;Stir lightly to combine.
  5. Spoon coconut mixture over baked layer.
  6. Bake an additional 18 to 20 minutes;Cool before cutting into bars.
