Rum Manhattan to the Rescue
- 2-1/2 oz. dark rum, preferably the good stuff
- 1 part (3/4 oz.) sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes bitters
- Orange zest peel and Maraschino cherries for garnish
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the rum, vermouth and bitters.
- Put lid on shaker, and shake it like you mean it.
- Using a cocktail strainer, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with an orange zest twist and cherries.
