Grama Wood's Blueberry Cake With Lemon Sauce Recipe

• 1 c. flour
• 1 tbsp. shortening
• 3/4 c. sugar
• Salt
• 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 1 c. blueberries
• 1/2 c. lowfat milk (approximately)

1. Cake: Cream sugar and shortening.
2. Add in flour, sifted with salt and baking pwdr.
3. Add in blueberries, then lowfat milk.
4. Pour into greased 8 x 8 inch pan.
5. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min.
6. Lemon Sauce: Combine all ingredients in small saucepan.
7. Cook till thickened.
8. Serve hot over piece of blueberry cake.
