Cactus Salad / Ensalada de Nopales

  2. Drain and rinse the nopales in a colander.
  3. Set them aside in a dish.
  4. 2.
  5. Add the diced onion, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeno, cumin and oregano to the dish with nopales.
  6. Mix it well.
  7. 3.
  8. Take the lime juice and pour over the top of the mixture of nopales.
  9. Sprinkle cheese on top (if desired).
  10. 4.
  11. Refrigerate about 1 hour before serving.
  12. Serve on top of carnitas or any favorite taco!
