Hot IPA Chili
- 1 lb (16 ounces) Ground Turkey
- 12 oz Chorizo
- 4 tbsp Salted Butter
- 1 White Onion (Chopped)
- 1 Spoonful Minced/ Roasted Garlic
- 2 can (30 Ounces) Pinto Beans
- 1 can (15 Ounces) Kidney Beans
- 2 can (20 Ounces) Rotel (1 Hot/ 1 Mild)
- 1 cup Chicken Stock
- 12 oz IPA Beer
- 3 tbsp Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 2 tsp Coriander
- 2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Bay Leaf
- Melt the butter over low heat in a 7 ounce Dutch Oven.
- Add onions and slowly cook until translucent
- Add garlic and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Brown the meat in a seperate pan.
- After brown, set aside and cook the Chorizo.
- When chorizo is browned, add all the meat to the Dutch Oven
- Add remaining ingredients
- The longer the better!
- Cook for a minimum of 4-6 Hours.
