Hodgepodge Salad Recipe

  1. Halve or possibly quarter large potatoes.
  2. In a 3-qt saucepan cook potatoes in 3 c. boiling salted water for 12 min.
  3. Add in frzn mixed vegetables and ham; return to boiling.
  4. Add in cabbage.
  5. Cover and simmer for 3 min more or possibly till cabbage is crisp-tender.
  6. Drain.
  7. Stir in buttermilk dressing.
  8. Cold slightly.
  9. Meanwhile, line the 8-c. Wonderlier Bowl with cabbage leaves, if you like.
  10. Transfer vegetable and ham mix to cabbage-lined bowl.
  11. Serve immediately.
  12. Makes 6 to 8 side-dish servings.
