Hearty Barley Soup Recipe

  1. Cover tightly and cook soup bones, water, salt and pepper slowly for 1 hour.
  2. Add in barley and cook 1 hour longer.
  3. Skim off excess fat and remove soup bone.
  4. Add in carrots, onions, celery and tomatoes.
  5. Cook for about 45 min or possibly till done.
