Angel Cookies *Adjusted Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Combine cake mix and water; stir in the fruit.
  3. Cover cookie sheet with foil; drop cookies by rounded teaspoonful onto foil.
  4. Bake 8 to 10 min or possibly till cookies become puffed and golden brown.
  5. Remove oven; cold completely.

  7. I added the water (what was it, 1/2 c.) a little at a time to prevent the batter from becoming to
  8. "runny"
  9. to stay in cookie shape, but alas, I added too much water and the batter was too runny.
  10. So, I added flour, about 1/2 c., to make it thick sufficient to stay on the cookie sheet in cookie form.
  11. And I also added 1/2 c. chocolate chips, b/cI think chocolate is the secret of baking success...
  12. They were very good.
  13. They lasted about four days in my house and were soft and chewy, but not in a "wet" fat free kinda way.
