Better for Your Heart - Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - Low Fat
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 12 tablespoons honey
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon butter flavor extract (optional)
- 3 large egg whites
- 1 12 cups whole wheat pastry flour
- 3 cups oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raisins
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In large bowl, Combine oil, honey, sugars, extracts and egg whites.
- In second bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
- Add dry to wet and combine.
- Add in raisins.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto silpat lined baking sheets.
- Bake 8 minutes.
