Mom's Sweet and Sour Ribs

  1. Fry 3 lbs.
  2. spareribs, cut into 2" pieces, until brown.
  3. Drain, one can of pineapple tidbits.
  4. warm the juice, 1/4 Cup water, 1 tablespoons soy sauce, 1/2 Cup brown sugar, 3/4 Cup vinegar and 3/4 tablespoons cornstarch.
  5. Make like gravy.
  6. When thick add pineapple chunks.
  7. Pour over ribs and place in a roaster.
  8. Bake 3-4 hours at 250 degrees.
  9. Very tender.
