Arroz Y Salchicha
- 4 cups rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon sofrito sauce
- 14 cup oil
- 3 (4 5/8 ounce) cans vienna sausages
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 teasoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Place oil, sofrito, tomato sauce, salchicha, salt, pepper, and 4 cups of water into rice pot.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium and add rice.
- Once the rice absorbs all the liquid, reduce heat to low.
- Place aluminum foil over the top of the pot and close lid.
- Cook for 15 minutes.
- After the 15 minutes, mix the rice, place the aluminum foil over the top and close with lid.
- Cook another 15 minutes.
- Continue step 4 until rice is cooked.
