Filled Sandwich Creams

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine brown sugar, butter and egg in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  4. Add all remaining cookie ingredients; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets; spread, using back of spoon, into 1 1/2-inch circles.
  6. Bake 6-8 minutes or until cookies are puffed and set.
  7. Cool completely.
  8. Spread about 2 tablespoons frosting onto bottom-side of 1 cookie; top with second cookie, bottom-side down.
  9. Squeeze together gently.
  10. Immediately roll edges of filling in decorator nonpareils.
  11. Repeat with remaining cookies and filling.
