Royal Pecan Cherry Ring Recipe

  1. Drain cherries and cut in halves.
  2. Add in sufficient water to cherry juice to make 2 c.; boil the 2 c. of liquid.
  3. Dissolve sugar, salt and gelatin in warm liquid.
  4. Add in lemon juice and 1 3/4 c. water.
  5. Refrigeratein refrigerator till thick.
  6. Add in cherries and pecans.
  7. Pour in large mold-ring or possibly individual molds.
  8. Refrigeratetill hard.
  9. Unmold on lettuce.
  10. Fill center with cottage cheese.
  11. Garnish with mint leaf.
  12. Serves 8.
