Broccoli And Corn In Gingered Curry Cream Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
- 1 pkt (14 ounce.) Green Giant Select Frzn 100% Broccoli Florets
- 2 pkt (10 ounce.) Green Giant Niblets Frzn Corn in Butter Sauce, thawed
- 1/4 c. Water
- 1/2 c. Whipping cream or possibly half-and-half
- 1 tsp Curry pwdr
- 1 tsp Chopped garlic in water, (from 4.5-ounce. jar)
- 1 tsp Grated gingerroot
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp White pepper
- 1 x Lemon, cut into 8 wedges
- 2 tsp Grated lemon peel
- 8 x Green onion fans
- 8 x Red bell pepper rings
- In 12-inch skillet, heat butter over medium heat.
- Add in broccoli and corn; stir to coat.
- Increase heat to high; add in water.
- Cook 3 to 5 min or possibly till broccoli is thawed, stirring occasionally.
- In small bowl, combine whipping cream, curry pwdr, garlic, gingerroot, salt and pepper; mix well.
- Stir into cooked vegetables; cook 2 to 4 min or possibly till vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
- Garnish as desired.
