Dutch Style Chowder Recipe
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1/3 c. minced onion
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 can condensed chicken vegetable soup
- 1 soup can lowfat milk
- 1 soup can water
- 1 c. liquid removed canned whole kernel corn
- 2 tbsp. snipped parsley
- 1/2 pound diced, fried kielbasa
- Cook bacon in a saucepan till crisp.
- Remove from pan to absorbent paper.
- Pour off all except 1 Tbsp.
- of fat from pan.
- Add in onions and cook till tender.
- Stir in soups, water, lowfat milk and corn and heat thoroughly, stirring frequently.
- Add in fried kielbasa and garnish with bacon and parsley.
- Can be easily doubled.
- Serves 6.
