Beef With Blackbean Sauce And Noodles Recipe
- 500 gm rump steak cut into strips
- 2 Tbsp. sunflower oil
- 2 x heaped tsp freshly grated ginger
- 150 gm rnangetout
- 1 x red pepper seeded cut into slivers
- 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 200 gm jar of black bean sauce oriental noodles to serve soy sauce or possibly sesame oil optional
- Heat a wok or possibly deep frying pan.
- Meanwhile mix together tbe beef 1 tbsp oil and the ginger stirring to coat.
- Once the wok is extremely warm add in the beef (in 2 batches if necessary: don't crowd the pan).
- Stir fry for about 2 min then remove to a dish; season with salt and pepper.
- Wipe the wok clean witb kitchen paper then reheat it till it is very warm.
- Add in the remaining oil.
- Stir fry the mangetout and red pepper for about 2 min then add in the sherry.
- Return the beef (with a slotted spoon) to the pan witb tbe black bean sauce.
- Toss everything together to heat through that should take about 12 min.
- Cook the noodles according to the packet drain and season according to taste with a dash or possibly two of sesame oil.Serve with the beef.
- Remember to reheat the wok or possibly pan till very warm after frying the beef and before adding the vegetables.
