Tropical Lime Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 2 teaspoons lime zest in bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake 20-22 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  5. Combine all filling ingredients except almonds and powdered sugar in bowl; mix well.
  6. Spread over hot, partially baked crust; sprinkle with almonds.
  7. Continue baking 23-28 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. Sift powdered sugar over cooled bars.
  10. Cut into bars.
