Blueberry Sauce
- 6 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 13 cup light corn syrup or 13 cup dark corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
- Heat and stir on medium high until it boils.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
- Strain.
- Pour into 2 hot sterilized half pint jars, diving evenly.
- Add boiling water if needed to fill within 1/4 inch of top.
- Place sterilized metal lids on jars and screw metal bands on securely.
- For added assurance against spoilage, you may choose to process in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
