Double Chocolate Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, soda and salt; set aside.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water; bring just to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add into butter mix 6 ounces of the morsels and vanilla; stir until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth.
  6. Transfer to a large bowl.
  7. Add in eggs one at a time.
  8. Beat well after each egg.
  9. Gradually blend in flour mix.
  10. Stir well.
  11. Add rest of morsels and add nuts. Spread into greased 9-inch square baking pan.
  12. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
  13. Cool completely, then cut into sixteen 2 1/4-inch squares.
