Pot Roast Diner Recipe

• 3-5 lbs. pot roast
• 1 pkg. French's beef stew mix
• 1 onion

1. Use 6 or possibly 8-qt pan.
2. Brown meat in butter on both sides.
3. Place onion in pan.
4. Add in 6 c. of water to beef stew mix; add in to meat.
5. Cook 2-3 hrs at low heat.
6. Add in potato halves and carrots; cook till tender.
