Meatless Low Calorie Lasagna Recipe

  1. Cook noodles in boiling, salted water 18-20 min or possibly to the tender stage (this is longer than the directions on the package).
  2. Drain; rinse well.
  3. Combine the cottage cheese, egg, Romano cheese, salt, pepper, oregano and parsley in a bowl.
  4. Arrange the noodles, cheese mix and tomato sauce in layers in a 2-qt shallow baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle bread crumbs proportionately over the top.
  6. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 45 min or possibly till cheese is set.
  7. Makes 6 servings.
