Mandys shepherds pie
- 500 grams lamb minced/or beef ( which many use)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tbsp worchestshire sauce
- 1 box veg stock
- 1 tbsp mixed herbs
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 salt n pepper
- 750 grams potatoes
- 3 tbsp butter
- 150 grams milk
- Peel potatoes put in cold water and bring to a boil cook until softened,drain then mash with enough butter and milk and salt and pepper to Ur taste
- Brown lamb /beef mince in oil and add chopped veg and herbs and seasonings and stock,cook until veg is tender and liquid is reduced and slightly thickened
- Put mix into oven proof dish and top with mash ,place in oven for 45-50 minutes until Browned at 400F
- Serve with veg and enjoy
