Chocolate Coffee Toffee Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Beat 3/4 cup butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg yolk; beat well.
  4. Stir in flour; mix well.
  5. Press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  6. Bake 20 min.
  7. or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven.
  9. Cool slightly on wire rack.
  10. Meanwhile, dissolve coffee in vanilla: set aside.
  11. Microwave sweetened condensed milk, 2 Tbsp.
  12. butter and vanilla mixture in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 4 min.
  13. or until thick and smooth, stirring after each minute.
  14. Spread over baked layer.
  15. Bake 12 to 15 min.
  16. Sprinkle evenly with chocolate.
  17. Bake 1 to 2 min.
  18. or until melted; smooth evenly with spatula.
  19. Sprinkle with nuts.
  20. Cool completely on wire rack.
  21. Refrigerate until set.
