Cherry Pecan Drops

  1. Cream butter and sugars.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add to wet ingredients slowly and mix well.
  5. Add chopped cherries and pecans.
  6. Chill dough for 45 - 60 minutes.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet.
  8. BAKE in preheated 375-degree Fahrenheit oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
  10. * For bigger cookies use tablespoons, but yield will be less.
