Miami Vice Bars Recipe
- 1 ounce. unsweetened chocolate
- 7 ounce. Baker's semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 lg. Large eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 teaspoon dry instant coffee
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 ounce. chocolate chips
- 2 c. broken walnuts
- Heat chocolate and butter.
- Cold.
- Mix flour, baking pwdr and salt.
- Beat Large eggs, sugar, coffee and vanilla.
- Beat in chocolate.
- Fold in dry ingredients till moistened.
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Put wax paper on a cookie sheet.
- Form dough into a roll and freeze about an hour.
- Slice in 3/4 inch slices.
- Let hot to room temperature about 20 min before baking.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 11 min, NO LONGER.
- After baking, let cold a few min on cookie sheets as they will be too soft to remove.
- Serves 13.
