Nuwave Chicken Parmesan (Low-fat)
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless frozen, 4 breasts about 6 ounces each
- 1/2 cup salad dressing, italian, low-fat
- 1 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 pound mozzarella cheese, non-fat sliced
- 1/4 cup parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 cups pasta sauce your favorite canned or jarred
- 1 1/2 cups pasta sauce your favorite canned or jarred
- In a shallow wide bowl add the low-fat Italian salad dressing.
- Distribute the bread crumbs on a plate.
- Dip each chicken breast in the Italian salad dressing, allow excess to drip off and then dip into the bread crumbs.
- Place chicken breasts on the liner pan of the NuWave or FlavorWave oven.
- Cook on high for 8 minutes.
- Turn over and cook another 8 minutes on high.
- Spoon the pasta sauce over each chicken breast and top with Parmesan and a 2 ounce slice of mozzarella cheese.
- Cook another 2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Serve.
- Goes well with garlic bread and/or some whole-wheat pasta.
