How to Use Ziploc Bags with a Foodsaver

• 1 Foodsaver
• 1 Ziploc bag
• 1 scissors

1. Place the food in the bag and trim off the zipper with some scissors.
2. Cut the zipper into 2 pieces and place 1 off the zippers vertically in the middle of the bag.
3. Trim the zipper to just above the bag.
4. Now, just use your foodsaver as you normally would and viola, a vacuum sealed bag on the cheap.
5. TIP: Depending on the thickness of the plastic bag, you may have to run the cycle 2 or 3 times to get a proper seal.
6. With the thin sandwich bag that I used, I only had to run it once.
