Double Peanut Butter Cookies with a kick!
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter at room tempperature
- 3/4 cup peanut butter, creamy or crunchy
- 1/3 cup granluated sugar
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugaar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 dash salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 26 mini peanut butter cups
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar for rolling
- Line cookie sheets with parchment paper
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a bowl beat butter and peanut butter until creamy, add the sugars and beat until light and fluffy.
- Add egg,,milk and vanilla and mix well.
- In a small bowl mix the flour, baking soda, salt, cayeene and black pepper
- Mix the flour mixture into the peanut butter mixture just until combined.
- Shape dough into 26 balls, roll balls ito the granulated sugar for rolling, place balls on parchment lined baking sheets.
- Bake 10 to 14 minutes until golden brown, remove from oven and immediatly press a peanut butter cup into center of cookie.
- Be gentle but firm if cookie cracks open gently press back together cool on cookie sheet a few minutes to set before moving to rack to compleatly cool
