Meatless Bulgur-Filled Tamales

  1. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine bulgur, tomatoes, pepper and onion.
  2. Add boiling water.
  3. Stir and cover with a dinner plate.
  4. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  5. Add miso and arrowroot, stirring thoroughly.
  6. Fill and cook tamales.
