Mixed Spices

  1. Measure out all of the spices and mix.
  2. Dry roast the spices in a frying-pan over low heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. *Keep stirring with a wooden spatula or shake the pan consistently.
  4. Transfer spices to a bowl or shallow container.
  5. I kept shaking the bowl to let the spices cool.
  6. Put the spices in a jar and store in a cool and dark place.
  7. Let the spices rest for a while to let the flavors and aromas settle in, and it's done.
